As the world's attention turns to Brazil in advance of the World Cup, Orgulho de ser Brasileiro (The Pride of Being Brazilian), explores Brazilian pride, culture, and this special moment for Brazil in the world. There are interviews with former Brazilian president Fernando Henrique Cardoso, football coach Carlos Alberto Parreira, the environmentalist Marina Silva, the geneticist Mayana Zatz, the philosopher Roberto Romano, the writer Ferréz, the theatre director Gerald Thomas, the Catholic bishop and social activist Dom Angélico Bernardino, and many others.
